Important information for the runners
We are happy that you are participating in the «Sudstroum escher kulturlaf».
In order to be well informed before the run and to ensure a smooth flow of the event, please read carefully the following information.
The central location of the “Sudstroum escher kulturlaf” is at the Résistance Square with the starting area. The finish is at the “Déierepark Gaalgebierg”.
Starting numbers can be picked up at the Place de la Résistance on the day of the race from 2 pm until 6.30 pm. Please respect your start time!

Getting on the site
Getting on the Résistance Square is particularly easy by bus, by bike and on foot.
By car, 4 parking spaces are available for the runners, their companions and the spectators:
- Parking place de la Résistance
- Parking place de l’hôtel de ville
- Parking Hiehl
- Parking Belval-Gare
Please note: the city centre is not easily accessible. Preferably use the car parks Hiehl or Belval Station and take public transport to the place of departure.
Please allow enough time to arrive. A start under stress can prevent you from performing the run as you intended to do.

Timekeeping
A chip integrated in the start number measures the time.

The start will be in blocks from 3 pm on. Each runner will be timed individually. Each rider will be timed individually.

Cultural route
The route of the “Sudstroum escher kuturlaf” not only passes along different cultural sites in the city. Musicians and music groups also play on stages and in natural sites along the route before, during and after the passage of the runners.

Catering during the run
We offer runners a refreshment station on the racecourse and a refreshment station at the finish.

The award ceremony will take place at a later date.

After the race the organiser provides changing rooms and showers for the runners.
